VaultPress Launches Security Scanning

. November 28, 2010 . 0 Comments

VaultPress has added security scanning to it’s service for premium customers.

The new core file scanner scans your site and does the following:

Checks that each of the expected core files exists
Checks the MD5 checksum of each file
Stores information about each file from PHP’s stat() function

For the next version of the scanner, VaultPress plan to store a unified diff of core file changes.

VaultPress provides realtime, continuous backup and synchronization of every post, comment, media file, revision and dash board setting across at least two separate cloud services in addition to the Automattic grid, ensuring no loss of content.
