Features:
Menus: News theme feature three sets of menus, two of which are capable of displaying dropdown menu items. All three menus collapse gracefully if not in use.
Slideshows: Displaying a slideshow with optional descriptinos for each image is as easy as uploading the images, filling in the descriptions like you’d normally do while uploading images through WordPress, and placing a slideshow shortcode anywhere within the article.
Custom Post Types: Outside of normal blog posts and articles, you’re able to feature Videos and Slideshows with built-in custom templates.
Custom Widgets: News theme has two custom widgets, one for counting post views and comments and the other is for displaying the latest images uploaded to your site.
Magazine Style Home Template: For the home page of your site, you may switch from the regular blog posts listing style to the magazine style. Featured posts, most viewed posts, and top posts in each category are handled effortlessly.
Integrated Social Media and Other Utilities: Digg an article, post it on Facebook, grab the shortlink to Tweet it, email it to a friend, whatever way you want your site users to spread the content, it’s there.
